These QR codes never expire

Many "free" QR generators create dynamic codes that point to their own redirect link, then stop working when a trial ends. The codes made here are static: the link, Wi-Fi details or contact card are stored inside the pattern itself. There is nothing to expire, no account, and no tracking redirect - the code will work for as long as the thing it points to exists.

Tips for codes that always scan

  • Keep strong contrast - a dark code on a light background. Light codes on dark backgrounds fail on some phones.
  • Leave the quiet zone (the margin) around the code.
  • Print it at least 2 × 2 cm, and bigger if people will scan it from a distance.
  • When you add a logo, the generator automatically uses the highest error correction so the code still reads.
  • Shorter links make simpler, easier-to-scan codes.

Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes expire?
No. They are static QR codes - the content is encoded in the image itself - so they work forever and do not depend on our website.
Can I use them commercially?
Yes. Use them on menus, packaging, flyers, business cards and signs at no cost and with no attribution needed.
Can I track how many people scan my code?
Static codes cannot count scans by themselves. Add UTM tags to your link with our UTM builder and you will see QR visits in Google Analytics.
PNG or SVG?
SVG scales to any size with no blurring - best for print and design software. PNG is easiest for documents, emails and social media.
How does the Wi-Fi QR code work?
Guests point their camera at the code and tap to join your network, without typing the password. It works on iPhone and Android.
