Affiliate Disclosure

How AIToolsBox is funded, and how we mark anything that earns us money.

AIToolsBox is free to use. There is no subscription and no paywall. Running a directory of 3,351 tools costs money, so this page explains where that money comes from — in plain terms, so you always know what you are looking at.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site may be affiliate links. If you click one and sign up or subscribe, we may receive a commission from that company.

This never costs you anything extra. You pay the same price you would pay going to the tool directly. In some cases an affiliate link carries a discount you would not otherwise get.

Most listings are free

The overwhelming majority of the 3,351 tools listed here have no commercial relationship with us at all. They are listed because they belong in the directory — not because anyone paid or partnered with us. Affiliate and sponsored arrangements are the exception, not the rule.

Submitting a tool is free, and a free submission is reviewed exactly the same way as any other.

Sponsored and paid placements

We may also publish sponsored content, paid placements or partner articles. Where we do, it is labelled on the page itself so you can see it before you read it.

Commercial links — affiliate or paid — carry a rel="sponsored" attribute in the page code. That is the standard signal search engines use to identify a commercial link, and we apply it so the distinction is machine-readable as well as visible to you.

What this means when you read a review

For tool makers

Listing your tool is free — you do not need an affiliate programme to be included. If you do run one and would like to talk to us about it, we would be glad to hear from you. Either way, to have your tool considered use the submission form or contact us. Submission itself is free.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, or you think a link should be marked and is not, tell us and we will fix it.
